- Attracting new residents, visitors and businesses through the promotion of cultural offerings, events and marketing activities.

- Engagement in planning initiatives to create new places for Worcester's growth and expansion.
- Facilitating the disposition of city-owned surplus land.
- Management/implementation of city sponsored special projects.
- Small- and large-scale real estate development projects.
Streetscape & Urban Design
The city's streetscape and design standards are meant to serve as a guiding tool to be used by the City, private developers and property owners to steer future strategic development in a consistent, thoughtful and professional manner. These standards also aim to protect neighborhood character, enhance coordination among City departments and promote economic development.

A special fund for locally-proposed projects related to community housing, recreation, open space and historic resources.

RFI - Rockland Trust Plaza
This Request for Interest seeks to identify an operator to execute on the vision, management, programming and place making of Rockland Trust Plaza.

Worcester Red Sox
Polar Park is home to the Worcester Red Sox, nicknamed the WooSox, our Triple-A East Division minor league baseball team.

The City of Worcester is developing a citywide plan that focuses on inclusion, integrity and innovation as core values guiding growth and change in the city.

Boys Club Building
The Lincoln Square Boys Club is proposed to be transformed into a senior housing development, along with other services and amenities.

Urban Revitalization Plan
The URP is focused on revitalizing under-invested properties in Downtown Worcester.

Washington Square Redevelopment
This plan is focused on achieving the highest and best use of parcels abutting the Washington Sq. rotary.

Worcester Memorial Auditorium
Constructed as a monument to the veterans of World War I, the Worcester Memorial Auditorium is in the midst of a redevelopment plan.
